Our meeting rooms are able to provide the perfect venue for meetings, conferences and presentations.

Board Room

A light and airy environment with a large board room style table including air conditioning.

Layouts available in this room:

  • Conference Style – Ideal for groups with heavy discussion and a need to write or refer to materials.
  • Theatre Style – Ideal for groups that do not have much discussion or do not have to write or refer to material.
  • Group Discussion Style – Ideal for groups with heavy discussion and no need to write or refer to materials.

Health Education Room

Seats a small number in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Group Discussion Style – Ideal for groups with heavy discussion and no need to write or refer to materials.

Clinical Consultation Rooms

We have a number clinical consultation rooms available either for day let or long term. 

Facilities on site

  • On site parking.
  • Fully disabled access including toilet facilities.
  • Modern facilities, comfortable furnishings.
  • Tea & coffee making facilities.
  • We have a reliable contact for catering.

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our Reception Staff will be happy to advise you about them along with Appointment availability.

We charge £20.00 for a private “to whom it may concern” letter which is payable in advance. There is a 1 to 2 week time frame for a letter to be completed.

  • Diabetic Dietitian – we have a diabetic Dietitian who attends the Surgery once a month to offer dietary advice to our diabetic Patients.  Please speak to a member of the nursing staff or doctor if you would like to see the Dietitian. 
  • Epilepsy Service – a GP with Special Interest(GPwSI) in Epilepsy runs an outreach clinic here every week.

Smoking Cessation

Unfortunately, we no longer provide this service at the Practice.  For advice and help on quitting smoking, call 01274 437700, they will advise you further.

Smear Tests (Cervical Screening)

Smear tests are carried out by our Practice Nurses.

Sexual Health & Contraception

Unfortunately, we no longer provide sexual health clinics. Please contact Locala on 0303 3309500 and they will advise you further.  

  

Immunisations

Children’s immunisations are administered by our Practice Nurses.

Epilepsy

The Epilepsy Clinic is run by our Practice Nurses.
