If you cannot attend your given Appointment please call us on 01274 683331 to cancel or reschedule. On average more than 85 people a month fail to turn up for their appointments without informing us. These slots could be put to good use and offered to another Patient, allowing the Doctors and Nurses to reduce any backlog of Patients and reduce waiting times. Please think of others when you can no longer attend or need a scheduled Appointment.
DNA’s – Did Not Attend
First Occasion: A text message and 1st DNA letter will be sent to the patient by the DNA coordinator. (Should the patient not consent the SMS a telephone call will be made)
Second Occasion: A text message and 2nd DNA letter will be sent to the patient. The letter explains the DNA policy and it informs the patient they will be removed from the practice list if they DNA again.
Third Occasion: The DNA Coordinator will send a final letter to the patient explaining that they have breached the practice DNA policy and will be removed from the practice list in 30 days. The patient will be given the opportunity to contact the practice to explain should they wish to.
