If you require a GP appointment out of hours, then call the Practice on 01274 683331 and you will be transferred automatically to the out of hours GP service. You can also call this service direct on 0845 129 4402 before 6:30pm or call the NHS 111 service if calling after 6:30pm.
The local walk-in centre is Hillside Bridge, 4 Butler St West, Bradford BD3 0BS telephone 0845 121 1024.
NHS 111 Service
Alternatively you can access urgent assistance by calling NHS 111 on 111. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the Surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999.
Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Should you have any comment about the Out of Hours service, a member of the West Yorkshire Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team would be able to assist you. They are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
